Who we are
FreightEZ Technologies Ltd operates FreightEZ, a transportation management service. This policy explains how we handle personal information through our website and application. For privacy questions or requests, contact hello@freightez.ca.
Information we handle
We handle information you provide when creating an account, contacting us, booking a demo or using FreightEZ. This may include your name, email, company and account details, communications, and fleet, driver, dispatch, invoice or document information that you upload. Usage information may include device, browser, IP address and interaction data. Payment processing is handled by Stripe.
Why we use information
We use information to provide and support FreightEZ, manage accounts and subscriptions, process payments, respond to requests, maintain the service, and understand how people use it. Customers are responsible for having appropriate authority and permissions to provide information about drivers, employees and other people.
Service providers
Our service providers include Stripe for payments, Vercel for application hosting, PostHog for analytics, and Microsoft Azure SQL and Azure Blob for data storage. Our marketing website is built with Framer, and demo bookings use Calendly. Providers process information for their services under their own terms and privacy notices. Information may be processed outside your province or country and may be subject to local laws.
Analytics and cookies
The website or app may use cookies and similar technologies for functionality and analytics, including PostHog. Where required, optional tracking operates only with your consent. You can manage cookies through your browser. Blocking cookies may affect some functionality.
Sharing and safeguards
We use service providers as described above and may disclose information where required by law or necessary to protect legal rights. We use safeguards appropriate to the information and service, but no internet or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Retention and your choices
Information is retained as needed to provide the service, manage records and meet legal obligations. You may contact hello@freightez.ca to request access, correction or deletion of your personal information, or to raise a privacy concern. We may need to verify your identity, and legal or contractual requirements may limit a request. Subscription cancellation is managed in the app and does not automatically delete all records.
Updates
We may update this policy and identify material changes through appropriate notice. The effective date will be set when this version is approved for publication.
